My wife is dual Brazil/US citizen and we are interested in investment in Fortaleza, but 3 year plan through a developer seems to be the best deal. She does have a home and land in Piaui that was paid for in cash, but we'd something nicer in Fortaleza area, but don't have enough cash. There are now mortgages available through the constructors in Fortaleza - several offering 100 months to pay some shorter and some even longer than that.
